Mines and caves have a no vehicle entry zone around their entrances that prevent player from entering into them on a mount. These zones will show up as an orange box around the entrance to the cave on your radar. You must park your mount and proceed on foot wherever you find a no-vehicle zone.
Why can't I ride my mount into mines or caves?
