So, have you made some friends in the wastelands and wanna be able to contact them later? To add friends to your friends tab type /friend add <Name> . You can also either click on their name in the chat or right click on their name in the Social (o) window and the option to add a friend will appear in the drop-down list.
Note: <Name> should be replaced with the players name
