Are Fallen Earth's chat channels customizable?

The Chat Channels in Fallen Earth are highly customizable. You can have as many Chat Tabs as you like, and each tab can be set to have any combination of these various channels:
 

• Combat: Shows damage dealt and received when fighting enemies, as well as any status modifiers that have affected you or caused you to affect others. 

• Local: Communicates with people who stand within a few hundred feet of you. 

• Team: Lets you discuss strategy with only those people who are sharing your adventures. 

• Clan: Enables easy socialization with you entire clan. 

• Officer: A channel just for ranking clan members. 

• Auction: For the buying and selling of valuables.

You can also rename each Chat Tab to suit your purposes, or toggle the Display-Only Option, which keeps you from accidentally speaking while on that Chat Tab.
